A Pathology Laboratory is a Laboratory where tests are carried out on clinical specimens to obtain information about the health of a PATIENT to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease . Pathology tests cover blood tests, and tests on urine, stools (faeces) and bodily tissues. A pathologist interprets the results of blood and pathology tests and looks for abnormalities that may point to disease, such as acute and chronic illnesses,  health risks, such as pre-diabetes.
